The scale is not just very practical and user-friendly to weigh my dog -who's really anxious for the higher metal scales @ vet & petshop- due to it being so low it has an almost unnoticible step-up, but also it's assembly of 'warm' materials which makes for a more comfortable 'paw-feel'. The scale itself is made beautifully, from high quality materials, and has a wooden plate which is finished with a grained leathery layer (therefore not only providing a warm feel, but also an estheticly pleasing gripping surface), making the scale actually look and feel of high design. Of course, and very important, the proces of activating, weighing, tarring, etc. flows very easy and intuitive. Keeping all this in mind, I am absolutely more then pleased with this product. Price-quality ratio is actually unbelievable!
