Using a beadroller tool is a process. In general, cavities are nothing more than a flat surface with predetermined curves. The best method is to press/push your hot gather into the desired cavity, heat and repeat, until you either have the shape, or are close. Remember, you're simply using the curve in the graphite. Now it's time to heat and roll to even out the last little imperfections.

premixed:
DIPPING, DRYING, and USING MANDRELS
Shake the bottle of release well before dipping. Immerse the mandrel. Pulling the mandrel out slowly will result in a thinner coat, pulling the mandrel out quickly will result in a thicker coat.

2oz dry mix:
Using a container with a tight fitting lid, mix 2 parts water to 3 parts CGBead-Release. Shake well, allow to sit and absorb for an hour+. Adjust to your desired consistency. Adding a wonkie bead will aid in mixing. Shake well before each use. Tap water contains chemical, distilled is best.

Air drying mandrels is optimal, flame drying is also an option. Wafting the wet mandrel in and out of the flame will prevent wet release from popping off. Bead releases contain clay, clay shrinks as it dries, the thicker the release, the greater the possibility of it cracking, I recommend a single dip. When fully-baked release is allowed to cool too much, then reheated, you have the possibility of it breaking. Keep it warm, just like you would the glass. Weather conditions, like humidity and temperature, can also effect bead release performance.
