A fabulous antique bedsheet in stunning unused condition
Coming from a local farmhouse clearance , this precious handmade linen was carefully stored away in a cupboard for decades. It’s condition is excellent if you can excuse some yellowing stains due to age and storage. But to me that doesn’t detracts at all as I am persuaded that they will all disappear after a careful cleaning.
Starched and ironed just as they were stored away, very well cared for.

One edge is adorned with a beautiful wide bobbin lace trim and also with floral embroideries , and also with a big central monogram. This was all handmade ( I have included as last picture a view of the reverse)

Made of that heavy luxurious antique quality linen that is not produces anymore today.
