I am an avid crocheter and navy wife who began making my own designs in an effort to soothe the creative outlet I had lost upon our latest change of duty station. I was a sports/features reporter for a newspaper in California - a job at which I met my husband.
Now, instead of using words to convey ideas and emotions, I'm using yarn!
I love working with all types of materials, especially brightly-colored wool yarns - although I don't shy away from acrylics either.
I love creating whimsical applique designs and am not afraid to attempt crazy pattern or color combinations.
