I was laid off of my job I'd had for 9 years back in January 2011 so I needed something to do to help my husband and two kids. My friend had been crocheting for a few months before so she showed me and I have to admit, I was addicted! I made so many things that I thought I needed to sell some of my items. I learned how to make a flower in February 2011 and from there started getting some great patterns and explored different yarn options. I have so many ideas that I have yet to make but love getting custom requests! I feel like I can make just about anything into a crochet hat!
