5 out of 5 starsBeware, "Range" is a very slippery concept in the Daggerheart rules. The rules say " is about 5–10 feet away. [...] Anything on a battle map that is within the shortest length of a game card (2–3 inches) can usually be considered within Very Close range." But on a standard battle map, 3 inches is 15 feet which is beyond close range. This contradiction seems to be an error, but may actually be intentional, to encourage flexibility with distances. As such, a ruler is bound to be controversial.

Thanks for the review! You are correct, the basic rules of Daggerheart are very lax on ranges. I made this to use with the optional defined ranges chart on page 103, so very close is up to 3 squares away, close is up to 6, and so on. To me it was easier to have this around than to try and remember how many sqaures very close is or to keep playing cards around and such. I hope you enjoy it!
