Auto Effects - The Best Variety of Spare Tire Covers!

The Auto Effects Experiment

I grew up outside of New York City in Long Island NY, I went to college in Charlotte, NC where I met my beautiful wife and we now live in the outskirts of the city. A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, I am an engineer, a former US Marine, and a family man with two great kids. I am blessed.

I am not an overly political person, but I have strong beliefs in equal rights for women, racial equality, diversity, and special needs support and awareness. Each are so important and are representative of my family. These themes (e.g., faith, urban, military, equality, diversity, special needs awareness, dad, etc.) will be ever-present in our product designs.

There is no better way to learn about something than to just do it. So after dabbling with print-on-demand t-shirts, other apparel, and accessories, I started Auto Effects to take the next step in learning about E-Commerce and what kind of potential it holds. At the end of the day, I am just a dad with a small business hoping to use this creative outlet to help pay for some of my children's extracurricular activities and special needs. Thank you so much for visiting Auto Effects and I hope we can earn your business!

Frequently asked questions

What kind of material is the tire cover made from and why?

Unlike the former fake leather tire covers we have seen for years, our tire covers are made from polyester fabric that is able to hold high-resolution full-color images with ease. This material is water-resistant [unless you have a camera hole] and protects your spare tire from the harmful effects of the sun. Polyester material is strong and it does not stretch, so please ensure that you have sized your tire cover correctly. These tire covers are light-weight and do not take up much room when they are stored which is ideal if you have multiple tire cover designs that you swap out from time to time.

How is the tire cover secured to your spare tire?

Our tire covers are secured to your spare tire with a simple drawstring that lets you cinch any excess material down using a clasp. Our tire covers are unique in that you can change them out when you want to celebrate a holiday or when you are ready for a new look and the drawstring allows you to do that easily while maintaining a snug fit.

Do you have spare tire covers with a backup camera and without?

Yes. Our Etsy shop includes a separate listing designs with a backup camera hole in the center and with no camera hole.

Sizing details

When Ordering:
1. Measure the edge-to-edge distance across your spare tire to determine the diameter in inches.
2. All Auto Effects tire covers have sizes that directly correlate with this diameter measurement. So if you measured 35 inches, you should order a size 35.

Note: If you ordered a size that is larger than your spare tire, the drawstring will allow you to sinch down some of the excess. If your tire cover is smaller than your spare tire, the polyester fabric does not stretch much and it will likely not fit.
