Why BethyLade?
Bethy Lade began long before it had a name. In 2012, our founder, Olga, helped her best friend choose a wedding dress — and something shifted. She was moved by the intimacy of the moment, by the quiet strength and beauty of supporting a woman at the edge of something new. What began as a personal joy soon became a calling.
Olga opened her first boutique with a simple purpose: to help women feel fully themselves on their wedding day. But over time, she realized that the traditional bridal world couldn’t fully express the modern, soulful woman she was meeting in each bride. The desire grew — not just to offer gowns, but to create them.
In 2018, after the birth of her daughter Elizabeth, Olga launched her own production and released her first original collection — one that reflected both timeless design and the individuality of each bride. When she later moved to the UK, everything changed. Life was being rebuilt from the ground up — and so was the brand.
That’s how Bethy Lade was born — a name that carries both legacy and rebirth.
Rooted in London, Bethy Lade is a blend of elegance and ease, tradition and modernity. We honour classic silhouettes and refined craftsmanship while designing for a woman who is confident, expressive, and free-spirited. A woman who values beauty, but not at the cost of comfort. Each gown is made-to-measure, with the option to customise or create something entirely bespoke. We work with rare fabrics, detailed handwork, and silhouettes that allow you to move and feel like yourself.
