Backyard bird posters by state, field-guide wall art

Field guides for your wall, one region at a time

We make wall art for people who notice what lives around them: the cardinal at the feeder in January, the hummingbird at the flowers in July, the mushrooms that appear after the first autumn rain. Each print is laid out like a page from an old field guide, one region at a time, with every species drawn in a matching style and its scientific name beside it. The illustrations are stylized and made with the help of AI tools. We choose the species for each state from public records like eBird and check each list before it goes to print. Our production partner, Printify, has each print printed to order at a print shop in the USA, so nothing sits in a warehouse and your print ships from close to home.

Frequently asked questions

Is a frame included?

No. Posters arrive unframed, sized for a standard 12x18 or 18x24 inch frame.

Where is my print made?

Each print is made to order by our production partner, Printify, and printed at a print shop in the USA.

How long will my order take?

Each print is printed to order, usually within 2 to 5 business days, then shipped from the USA. Etsy shows the estimated delivery date for your address on each listing. If your order has not arrived within 15 business days, message us and we will find it or send a new print.

My print arrived damaged, misprinted or wrong. What now?

Send us a photo through Etsy messages within 30 days of delivery. We will send a free replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. You do not need to send the print back.

Are the illustrations made with AI?

Illustrations are stylized and made with the help of AI tools. We choose the species for each state from public records and check every list before it goes to print. The design is original to Field Guide Prints.

Can I use the mushroom prints to identify mushrooms?

No. They are decorative prints, not for identification.

Can you make my state?

Message us with the state. Requests help us choose the next editions.

Will the colors match my screen?

Colors can look slightly different in print than on a screen.
