Our selection of artisanal crafts embodies the values of elegance, simplicity and thoughtful products for discerning individuals worldwide. By connecting people who appreciate meaningful, timeless quality, we build bridges between Japan's cultural heritage and the global community.
We work directly with the makers and kilns behind each piece: Miyama in Mizunami for porcelain, Isobe Candle for warosoku, Tsumami Kanzashi Ayano in Chiba for silk and washi flowers, and forges in Tosa and Seki for our knives. We photograph the work, write down its story, and bring it to people who will treasure it. Only things we would keep ourselves earn a place here.
Good to know
Where do you ship from? Every order ships from Japan with tracking and careful wrapping.
How long until it arrives? Processing is 1 to 3 business days for in-stock items. Made to order pieces, such as many of our kanzashi and washi flowers, show their lead time on the listing, usually about 1 month. Delivery is then about 1 to 3 weeks depending on your country.
Will I pay customs or duties? For US orders, import fees are included at checkout. Buyers outside the US may pay import duties on delivery. Message us and we will help.
Can it be sent as a gift? Yes. Any order can be sent as a gift, and we wrap with care. Just tell us at checkout or by message.
Are the pieces really handmade? Yes. Handmade and made to order pieces vary slightly from one to the next, which is part of the craft rather than a flaw.
Do the diffusers include essential oil? No. The Kaminoka washi flowers and diffusers do not include oil, so you can choose your own scent.
Can I cancel an order? Cancellations are accepted within 2 days of ordering, before a made to order piece goes into production.
Do you offer wholesale? Yes, we work with shops and hotels. Message us about wholesale.
