Horse Lovin' Michigan Woman
My name is Cheryl and I started my shop when I learned about print on demand products. It sounded like fun to me so I started making some designs and trying out different print on demand companies. I make all of my designs using photographs that I personally take. I then make silhouettes from those photographs and add embellishments and text. I did hand draw one of the characters on some of the products: Shaggy Horse is solely hand drawn and is also trademarked. Shaggy Horse came about from me doing some doodling in my drawing program and I just loved how he turned out. I think I will make him my mascot, he is just so cute!
My family helps me to come up with some of the words and phrases for my products. Some of the horse silhouettes are from photographs of me on a horse, and some are from photographs of just horses that I took when I was on vacation. I absolutely love, love, love horses!
I love design and drawing and creating these shirts and other products are a great outlet for my creativity. Although I don't do the actual printing, I do work with a print on demand company who does a very good job. The products are quality and I know that because I have bought several of them myself. I wanted to know what my customers were getting and so I was willing to put some money into it. I am very pleased with the products and feel good about selling them to others.
