It all started with a proposal... and a T-shirt.

In May 2014 I married the love of my life, an airline pilot. As a honeymoon surprise, I made "Mr" and "Mrs" T-shirts that showed our wedding date, and we wore them on our flight to Hawaii. It was so fun to have strangers tell us "congratulations" and share in our joyful day, and it kept the celebration going long after our reception. I still wear my T-shirt, years later, as a reminder of how exciting our love is.

When we returned from our honeymoon I decided that every couple should get to celebrate like that, so I started making and marketing my T-shirts on Etsy. Each shirt is made to order and produced specifically for the couple it represents. As time has passed, I've added several other items to my shop, and the business has taken off!

As a tribute to my proud role as a pilot's wife, as well as the honeymoon flight T-shirts that started it all, I named my shop "Made In Flight."
