Native Swell was founded in 2011, by Annie O’Bryan, on a thin strip of land off the coast of North Carolina called Hatteras Island. Annie has since moved back home to the DC Metropolitan area but continues to explore and seek inspiration from bygone times on the path less traveled.
Native Swell is durable fine jewelry devoted to a cultural of sustainability. The brand is not just about lovely adornments but about the story of the wearer and the beauty of human interaction. The stones are handpicked for their aesthetic and also for their healing energies. Symbols of strength, power & nature are reoccurring themes. Recycled metals and materials are reused and given new life whenever possible. All of the pieces are made to last; a beautiful solution to mass consumerism!
Everything is made by hand in her studio in Washington, DC.

5 out of 5 starsI’ve had many people comment on this bracelet and ask me “what is it?” which is a great way to open up a conversation about what’s happening in the world. My 75-year-old mother wants one now 😊
