5 out of 5 starsI had a good time sewing with this pattern! The video and instructions were clear and helpful and I appreciated being able to download just the size I needed. Since this is aimed at beginners, I wish that the pattern had a note about where we might be able to understitch the cups and band to prevent the edges from rolling. I also wish the pattern mentioned what steps would change if we used a different lining fabric, but I was able to figure it out. I learned a lot and would make again!

4 out of 5 starsCute pair of shorts, instructions were easy to follow. Wish the waist band has another 1cm so you can sew it in instead of having the serger / zig zag stitch exposed (even if it’s on the inside) so it has a cleaner look. Of course you can add it in yourself but I followed it step by step and didn’t realize until after. The instructions were also to top stitch the lace. I guess maybe this is for beginners that’s why, but I think there are better ways to integrate the lace so the overall the shorts looks a little more expensive/ have better construction. My waist is 71cm and I sewn the XS. It fits but was a little loose. Sewn it in linen for reference
