Surrounded by a faith community that had so little by the world's standards and so much by God's, I began homeschooling my children. Living alongside missionaries who understood discipleship as the core work of the Christian life transformed how I thought about raising my own children. I didn't just want to educate them. I wanted to disciple them. And I needed resources worthy of that calling.
What I found instead was the same wall every intentional Christian mom eventually hits. The curriculum that was spiritually rich came in clipart-heavy PDFs that felt more like a church bulletin than a resource worthy of the children I was trying to disciple. The beautifully designed materials felt spiritually shallow — pretty enough for the coffee table but thin enough to read in an afternoon.
That decision, made in the middle of a missionary year on the other side of the world, planted a seed that has grown into Raising Redeemed.
What began as beautiful faith-inspired gifts and wall art for the Christian home is now expanding into something I have dreamed about since those early homeschool days in the Philippines — curriculum that is as beautifully designed and spiritually deep. Our children deserve both.
