I was in High school when the school shooting at Columbine happened (1999), and now, 25 years later, I have my own Daughter getting ready to start high school- where Lock Down drills happen more than fire drills and guns are the leading cause of death in Children. Nothing has changed, it's only gotten worse. As a Mom of 6 kids in school, this is horrifying.
