How we started our business
We are a family owned and operated business located in a small town in northwest Ohio. I am a nurse and a mother, and my husband is a natural born entrepreneur who has worked with his family business his entire life.
Our business idea started 6 years ago after stumbling upon a great deal on some I-beams. It just seemed to click, and so the process of building his sawmill began. He had this vision of creating a business where he could give fallen trees a second life! We have created so many beautiful tables for families to sit at. There is no greater feeling than the joy it brings us to see how excited people are after receiving our products.
Each table, and slab of wood is completely unique- you will never find another one like it! Products that we offer include:
-unfinished/finished coffee or dining room tables (largest in width being 72")
-smaller products like sofa or entry way tables
-chunks of specific wood for woodworkers to whittle and craft
-Custom signs, and home decor
-Nursery signs
-Seasonal decorations
Our products are dried outside for 2 years, then are placed in the kiln to be dried to <12%
The products that we offer contain a variety of different species of wood. We offer soft maple, hard maple, walnut, black walnut, cherry, oak, and hickory. We will gladly work with you if you have an idea!
We recently decided to expand our business to engraving our wood products! We will now be offering much more than just tables and slabs, we will offer home good products, and personalized mementos!
