As an artist/shop owner, I am very pleased to present my handmade mid-century modern statement earrings which are crafted from original 1950's wallpaper borders and vintage resin. They are one-of-a-kind with a retro vibe and very featherweight!

I enjoy finding the most unique and unusual (never used) wallpaper borders which are rare and out of print. I bring my experience as a visual artist, graphic designer, former design professor, and curator, into my jewelry design. With a love for sustainability, I utilize my design sensibilities when resourcing and upcycling these unique combinations of materials and vintage resin or enamels.

As I craft these handmade statement earrings I try to maintain the retro quality, while pairing vivid patterns, unique shapes and unusual vintage beads together to make each pair distinctive. All of the papers are hand cut and coated to protect the finish.

Also added to my shop are mercury melon glass and freshwater pearl statement earrings with matching necklaces, made with vintage & Venetian bugle glass. The world is your oyster when you wear pearls!
