We believe that the small things make a big difference. We believe in slow design, and that great design comes from within. We do this by working with both traditional and modern techniques, focusing on beautiful, functional, purposeful design. We create accents for the home, paper goods, and personalized stationary.
Meticulously designed. Painstakingly handmade. Two statements we pride our work on. Every item in our shop was designed and fabricated in our home studio in Kitchener Ontario Canada.
Our process is very hands on. We begin with our two favourite tools a pencil and a note book. From there designs are either realized digitally or elaborated using a number of techniques from watercolour and inks to markers and pencil crayons. Every design is finalized using digital processes before the screen positives are printed and we return to the hands on process. The inks are carefully mixed by hand to get the perfect colour. Each item is then printed and constructed by hand in our home studio.
We run as green a shop as possible. Our printing process uses water based inks and as few chemical cleaners as possible. When printing with paper we use starwhite cover. This bright white paper is manufactured 100% Carbon Neutral, FSC certified, and is made using 100% renewable energy.
