Have your favorite book bound in leather! Rebinding will make any book you treasure more durable and more beautiful.
I practice traditional leather bookbinding, using manual tools, and the highest quality materials like handmade papers and lambskin. You will be hard pressed to find anyone else that is using the tried and true old fashioned methods of bookbinding. I am able to do personalized gold leaf lettering or other custom details. I use an antique letterpress and book press, and do all lettering by hand using lead typeset and gold leaf.

Here you will find mystery and magic. The books I rebind will usually have an esoteric theme. I use top grain leathers or fine vintage leathers and handmade papers to rebind each book. Every book I bind is completely unique and the only one of its kind.
You will occasionally see out of the corner of your eye an otherworldly creature or other minutia amongst my stacks of books.

Books are the best place to find a bit of mystery and magic. These two things inspire me.

My book bindery is located inside one of the old chemistry labs at the remote and mysterious Science Camp, nestled in woods of the Southern San Juans. I first studied bookbinding in Albuquerque, New Mexico (my native ground) at the University of New Mexico, but perfected my craft in Bekescsaba, Hungary, where I studied under my mentor Bertold Biro, as well as in Tirgu Mures, Transylvania, both places with an established history of book making traditions. Alongside my graduate degrees in History, Religion, and Philosophy, focusing on the esoteric, bookbinding has been my passion. I rebind and remodel used books, re-purpose and improve them, into lovely leather bound editions, with an old fashioned touch. I am a hunter of rare books and prints, some of which you will find nowhere else.
