KnittyMD was started as a means to keep a medical student and spouse connected during the years and YEARS of book work. Not only could they connect through the fibery goodness, but also through a desire to support awesome charities with their art.

In the beginning KnittyMD was soley knitting, but knitting needles just weren't enough. Inspired by the beautiful medical diagrams that were strewn around the house KnittyMD picked up the embroidery needle as well.

So whether it's through knitting needles, embroidery needles, or even medical needles, we love what we do and hope it brings a little more awesome to the world.
