Large, Medium & Small barrettes may offer a different clip style - French (metal) or Rubber Backed in the listing. French style barrette backs will hold more hair than the Rubber Backed barrettes which work well with finer hair. Of course, you know that ALL hair thickness is different, and I am not able to guarantee that the clip will hold ALL of your hair.

Each unique piece has at least 1, 2, 3 or more layers of glass melted or fused together for a long time in a hot kiln. Glass is fired at least twice, sometimes more, and properly annealed to ensure a high quality piece. I handcraft each piece you will find in my shop & take pleasure in seeing the brilliant colors reflected in the glass.

Bubbles - Yes, you may find bubbles embedded in the layers of glass. This is a nature occurrence in the fusing process. Some people like them, some don't. I offer both with and without.

As you probably know, photographing dichroic glass & capturing the colors reflected is very difficult. Dichroic changes colors with different lighting, different backgrounds, and even different angles. You really must see the piece in hand to appreciate the depth and variety of color. If you are not completely overcome with the beauty of the piece, please return it to me for a full refund. Your satisfaction is guaranteed! Please review my shop policies for details.

Due to the heat of the summer and packages sitting in hot containers during transit, I have extended my shipping time for custom barrettes. Please be patient. I do not want the clip to separate from the glass because the glue did not set. Letting your barrette cure a little longer will hopefully insure your barrette arrives ready to wear.

The complementary silver plated necklace I include with most listings are the best quality product I have found. They do not carry any monetary value but are a very nice addition to your pendant. Select your length at checkout. Sometimes I have longer than 24" chains so if that is something you want, please ask. If I have it in inventory, I would be happy to exchange it for you. If you would like to upgrade to sterling silver, please select that item in my store.

We all love Free Shipping & I offer it on orders of $35 or more. If your order qualified for free shipping but you decide to return an item or the entire order making your total order (after the return) less than $35, I will deduct the standard shipping fees that would have been charged for the order from what you are owed from the return. Shipping costs are hard costs and out of my control. I hope you understand.

If you decide that you do not want what you purchased, please contact me within 7 days & return the item within 14 days. You are responsible for paying for the return shipping to me. I will refund the value of the item when it is received, unused and in new condition. Shipping is not refundable unless you & I agree. If your item qualified for Free Shipping, please read my information regarding returns, refunds, etc. above. You will be responsible for shipping the exchanged item back to you.

I strive to ship your purchase quickly and as you ordered it using the US Postal Service which offers GPS tracking. I am not responsible for the time it takes any package to arrive after it leaves my studio. I rely on the tracking system of the US Postal Service to verify delivery. This tracking may or may not extend to international countries & addresses. If your package does not arrive when you think it should, please contact me & I will verify tracking information. If tracking says it has been delivered, please contact your local post office for delivery verification. In all fairness, I do not refund for packages may not have been received.

Please verify that you have received everything within 5 days of receipt of your package. Based on my shipping process & inventory control methods, it is unusual for an item to be missing, however mistakes do happen. I cannot be responsible to replace items weeks after receipt. If your package looks like it has been opened, please contact your post office. I am not responsible for theft.

Everything in my shop is made by me, posted, sold, packaged, and shipped by me. It has become increasingly more difficult to track multiple orders by the same customer, combine & refund shipping overages.

For the best shipping price or Free Shipping, put all items you want from my shop in your cart & check out at one time. If your order is split into multiple orders, contact me & I will work with you on shipping. Otherwise, your orders will remain separate & will be shipped separately.

Etsy now requires tracking #'s to be placed on each order which benefits/protects you the buyer & me the seller. Etsy does this automatically for each order shipped but not when orders are combined, then l have to do it & it is difficult to manage.
