Hi Everyone I'm Theresa :)
I am a Clinical Counsellor working out of Vancouver, British Columbia Canada; it's there I work for a local non-profit and run my Private Counselling Practice. This little Etsy shop is an extension of my healing and support work. When I began doing counselling in 2015 it was often hard to find materials and tools to use with my clients, my population were those with complex trauma, and typical "self-help" materials didn't support them very well. I was often left DIY-ing tools & materials and making my own handouts.
When I opened my Practice in 2020 I finally had a space to create durable therapy tools that are beautiful and lovely to use.
My goal as a practitioner of mental health is to completely remove the stigma from therapy and the struggle to manage our emotions. Mental health...is health! And all Health is a daily engagement. I hope you enjoy my shop and find tools to incorporate into your day-to-day.
