The Story of ❝Hawaiian CAT Liliu❞
Hello! I’m the creator of Liliu Shell.
The cat behind Liliu Shell is my beloved rescue cat, Liliu.
While I was looking for a cat who reminded me of a cat I had once lived with and loved, I came across a little cat on an animal shelter website in Yamaguchi Prefecture, far from where I live. I fell in love with her at first sight, but sadly, she was only days away from being euthanized.
With the help of wonderful animal rescue volunteers, Liliu was rescued and flown from Yamaguchi to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. I went to the airport to meet her and welcomed her into my family.
She was born in September, and I named her “Liliu.”
I have always loved Hawaiian history, so I named her after Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarch of the Hawaiian Kingdom, who was also born in September.
Today, Liliu is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves chasing strings. Every night, she sleeps with her head resting on my left arm.
“Hawaiian CAT Liliu” was born from my love for Liliu and my deep love for Hawaii.
Through Liliu Shell, I hope to share Liliu’s adorable charm and the beauty of Hawaii with people around the world.

「Hawaiian CAT Liliu」の物語
こんにちは。Liliu Shellのクリエイターです。
Liliu Shellの猫のモデルは、私と一緒に暮らしている保護猫のLiliu（リリュ）です。
以前一緒に暮らしていた猫に似た子を探していたら、遠く離れた山口県の保健所のサイトで一匹の猫に一目惚れ❤ あと数日で殺処分されると記載されていました。
ボランティアの方に連絡して山口県から飛行機に乗せてもらい羽田空港へ✈
空港まで迎えに行き、家族として迎えました。
9月生まれのその子に付けた名前は「Liliu」。
ハワイの歴史が大好きな私は、同じく9月生まれのハワイ王国最後の女王、
リリウオカラニ女王（Queen Liliʻuokalani）の略称と同じ「Liliu」と名付けました。
今では、紐を追いかけて遊ぶのが大好きな、とても甘えん坊の女の子。
夜になると毎日、一緒に寝ています。
そんなLiliuの愛らしさと、私の大好きなハワイへの想いから生まれたのが
「Hawaiian CAT Liliu」です。
Liliu Shellを通して、Liliuの可愛らしさとハワイの魅力を、世界の方々へ
届けられたら嬉しいです。
