Mischievous 3D-Printed Goods & Maker Supplies Curated by Nix the Gremlin
"Nix! Not that lever!"
If you step into our workshop on a Tuesday at midnight, that’s usually the first thing you’ll hear. Somewhere between the hum of 3D printers and the scent of ozone and aging hardware, you’ll find him—Nix the Gremlin.
Most shops try to keep the gremlins out. We invited ours in.
From Glitches to Gadgets
Nix isn’t your average workshop helper. While traditional gremlins were known for causing chaos in machinery, Nix found a new calling: The Art of the Maker. He realized that the "glitches" were just opportunities for something more interesting. A failed print became a textured armor plate; a stray gear became the heart of a steampunk pendant.
He’s the one who scours the digital and physical worlds for unique hardware accents, quirky 3D-prints, and the kind of craft supplies you won’t find in those squeaky-clean, big-box stores.
Our Philosophy: Embrace the Weird
At Nix Guide To, we believe that the best creations come from a place of "industrial grit" and creative whimsy. We don’t do "perfectly polished." We do character. We do "eccentric with a twist of weird".
Whether you are:
- Hunting for the perfect specialized 3D component to finish a build.
- Looking for unique hardware that looks like it was salvaged from a Victorian airship.
- Sourcing unconventional supplies for your next mixed-media masterpiece.
...you’re in the right place.
Why the "Guide"?
Because making things is hard. Sometimes the filament tangles, the glue doesn't stick, or the "gremlins" (the literal ones) get into the machinery. Nix has been through it all. He’s here to guide you through the chaos, offering the tools and materials he’s personally "vetted" (or occasionally tried to eat).
Based in Oshawa, Ontario, we ship our oddities across Canada and the US, ensuring that no matter where your workshop is, a bit of the Nix magic can find its way to you.
Grab your tools, embrace the weird, and let’s make something unconventional.
