Frequently asked questions
Do I need Excel to use the templates?
No. Every template works in free Google Sheets. It also works in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Excel 2021 or newer. Apple Numbers and older Excel versions aren't supported.
How do I get my files?
Instantly after payment: go to Etsy > Purchases & reviews > Download files, or use the link in your receipt email. Open the Welcome Guide PDF first. It has your Google Sheets link and quick-start steps.
How does the Google Sheets version work?
The Welcome Guide has a button that makes your own private copy in your Google Drive. You'll need a free Google account. Nobody else can see your copy or your numbers.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes, in the free Google Sheets app. Set it up on a computer first, then log your spending on the go.
Can I use it again next year?
Yes. Change the year in the Settings tab, or make a fresh copy from the link in your Welcome Guide.
What if something doesn't work?
Send me a message on Etsy and I'll help you set it up or fix the issue, usually within a day. Digital downloads can't be returned, but I'll always make sure your template works for you.
Can I share the template with friends or resell it?
Each purchase is for personal use in your own household. Please don't share, resell or redistribute the file or its link.
