The item is a great idea and of good quality, but unfortunately, I seem to have some very smart raccoons. On the first night of use, they not only opened the lid but also stayed inside to destroy one bag of waste, then got back out. The latch did not slow them down, hinder them, or stop my super smart raccoons. I have now purchased spring clamps in the hopes that they work better.

The item was a great quality but unfortunately I didn’t know that I had to drill holes at the top of my trash cans. Therefore I have to return the item back.

customer service was amazing. reached out proactively to check up, and when our bin didn't match the product, they quickly cahooted with me and adjusted the product and sent out replacement parts. now the product fits and works. no more racoons invading the trash! amazing experience! highly recommend!
