How It Started
Scrub Notes was created from years of teaching, leading, and working alongside nurses who were doing their best to keep up in environments that rarely slow down.
As a nurse educator with over 20 years of experience, I saw the same pattern again and again—students and nurses weren’t struggling because they didn’t care or weren’t capable. They were overwhelmed by how much information they were expected to manage, organize, and apply in real time.
I started creating structured tools to help make that process clearer.
What began as simple teaching resources—brain sheets, concept organizers, and EBP guides—quickly became something more. These tools helped nurses think more clearly, stay organized during shifts, and approach complex work with confidence instead of chaos.
Scrub Notes grew from that need.

Many pages are designed to be reused, duplicated, and adapted to your workflow—because nursing is never one-size-fits-all.
Why I Created This
Nursing requires more than memorization.
It requires the ability to organize, prioritize, and think clearly under pressure.
These tools are designed to support that process—quietly, practically, and without adding more noise.
