Frequently asked questions
I've made my purchase. How can I access my template?
To access your template, simply click the link beneath 'your templates' in the PDF which will be available for download immediately after payment confirmation.
Files will be emailed to your Etsy email where you can click the 'View your files on Etsy' button OR go to your Etsy profile dropdown menu > Purchases and Reviews > Download Now. Once downloaded, click to open the PDF file and select the dimensions of your template by clicking the corresponding link in the PDF, underneath 'your templates'. This will take you to Canva where you can make your FREE account and access your template (it only takes a few minutes).
What can I edit?
Almost everything in our templates is editable!
Wording & text size
- click on or highlight the text you want to change and begin typing to personalise your text.
Font & font size
- choose from a wide variety of FREE fonts on Canva or stick with the font we chose, it's up to you.
Background & Font Colour
- change the font colour and background colour to whatever you choose. To change the background colour, simply click the background of the template then click the coloured circle on the toolbar.
Photos
- easily upload your own special photos by simply dragging and dropping the file into the template OR click 'uploads' on the sidebar and select an image from your device. Copy and pasting into the template works too.
What CANNOT be edited?
You cannot edit the size and orientation of our templates. Please see the item description to see what sizes are available. All sizes offered will automatically be included in your download. If you are looking for another orientation, please search our shop or send us a message and we will happily create it for you!
How do I print?
If you wish to print your design, you can print however you like!
Our templates can be printed at home, via Canva, or sent to a professional print shop.
To print at home: download your finished printable as a 'PDF Print' and select 'show crop marks and bleed'. You can also 'flatten pdf' to optimise print quality. Print multiple copies per page by adjusting your print settings (ensure you scale your design to 100% for accurate sizing) and trim on the lines to save time and paper.
Professional printing: Please check ALL requirements with your printing service of choice prior to downloading your template. Then download your template as 'PDF Print' and follow the requirements of your chosen print service.
Can I send electronically?
Yes of course! Save both time and money and skip the printing altogether by sharing the image file (JPEG or PNG) via text, email, or social media. You can also integrate with an online RSVP tool or your wedding website.
Do I need to be design/tech savvy?
Not at all! These templates are incredibly easy to use and should you need us, we are here to help.
Do you accept custom requests?
Yes we do! Send us a message and let us know your inspiration/vibe. We will do our best to satisfy any request!
What should I do if I can't access my template file after purchasing?
If you purchased your template using Apple Pay or with your Apple ID and the related email address doesn't correspond with the email address linked with your Etsy account, sadly Etsy will block you from accessing your template file.
To solve this, you can either:
- create an Etsy account with your 'guest' email address (i.e. the one linked to your Apple Pay/ID which you will have received the email confirmation to) and claim your files through the separate account.
- message us with proof of your order (email confirmation) and your email address and we will send you your template file directly via email.
If there are any further issues, please contact us directly and we will work with you to resolve them.
