About this item
This is Version 2.0 of the 3D printed bracket for a Eufy Security 2K Camera (pan-tilt version)
This new version sports thicker walls on the base and in the upper body portion of the stand, but maintains the same tight tolerances in assembly. Also included is a free adapter that has the screws pre-installed into the adapter plate to make assembly much faster and easier.
The purpose of the bracket (camera stand) is to provide better viewing angles when the camera is installed at high parts of your home (like the top of a cupboard or book shelf) and to avoid the need to mount the camera on the ceiling of your dwelling. The stand is intended for indoor use only.
The bracket comes in two pieces, the upper portion sides into the lower with a firm friction fit.
The upper portion where the camera is attached, holds the camera in place with the adapter that came with your Eufy camera, or use the new adapter that I am including with your stand.
There are two holes on the top of the bracket that secure the adapter to the bracket to the camera.
It is recommended to assemble the upper portion (adapter, camera and then cable) first and then to slide the upper portion into the lower base portion. Then place it where needed and plug the camera in.
There is also a hole at the back of the stand that allows the power cable to be passed outside of the stand and makes for a very clean look.
2 Screws and nuts are also included with the camera stand so that the camera adapter can be attached using the original Eufy adapter, or the adapter that I have made for the camera stand.
This is a 3D printed stand that is printed with a vegetable based PLA plastic. The plastic is recyclable and compostable (please consult with your local regulations)
The majority of packaging used for shipping is recyclable as well. There will be visible layer lines in the finished product, as is the nature of 3D printed items.
Please note that there are settings in the Eufy home security app that will allow you to change the orientation of the camera, once you have changed that setting you're all set!
