This is a wonderful 1970s maxi dress featuring a green and white floral tropical pattern with a bit of black accenting, printed on 100% nylon, so great for beach or resort wear. The dress is made in a full length halter neck style with a V shaped neckline and exposed back. The dress is cut with a flare to the hemline so that the skirt of the dress falls in drapes. The dress does up the back with a nylon zipper and it is unlined except for the bust, which is lined in white and slightly padded.

Beatrice Pines started her clothing business during the early 1950s with her husband Irving Cutler, after working for sleepwear manufacturers for six years following her studies in fashion design at the Traphagan School in New York (James Galanos, Geoffrey Beene and Anne Klein are alumni).
