This painting is titled Burger. It is part of a series of small format paintings called Les P'tits Snacks. It's a series inspired by urban art, graffiti, very colorful and dynamic. Food looks like it's frozen in the middle of a stunt or explosion. Also, this is a series focused on fatty and sugary food, generally called junk food, but which I prefer to call modern fast comfort food. :)

I am an artist from Quebec City, I live in the Maizerets district. I've been tinkering with art forever, it seems, and over the last ten years, I've focused mainly on 3D video game visuals. In March, I decided to take on a new challenge, to give my creativity a good kick-start, to stimulate it, you know! I picked up my brushes again and, after a break of around twenty years, I started painting again. A month later, I decided to take a break from my regular work to have more time for myself, among other things to paint more.
My goal is to have pleasure in painting every day and for this pleasure to shine through my paintings, through the lively technique, the assumed colors and also through the choice of subjects, often inspired by pop culture, games. video, animation and by my 3 boys, their interests and my own childhood.
