Having a bit more depth and pronounced peppery spice scent than the Indian CO2 distilled counterpart, this is perfect on its own or with a drop of Ruh Khus to work as a natural deodorant and cologne that lasts longer than you might expect. When mixed with the CO2 extract, the oils combine to create a cardamom scent so wonderful it's enough to make you pinch yourself to make sure you're awake and not dreaming of the most remarkable spice shop you can imagine. Shout out to Fozia for always sourcing incredible essential oils, attars, ouds and sandal specimens -- the quality just can't be beaten! Customer service is equally amazing and shipping is so fast it's stupefying. I'll be a return customer as long as this shop exists. Thank you Fozia!!! 🙏🏽

This cardamom oil has a much more clear and pronounced variety of top notes compared to the steam distilled oil from Guatemala. Citrusy, powdery, "bright" and more "fresh" spice notes, whereas the Guatemalan has a bit more depth with deeper base notes and more "pepper" spice scent. Mixing the 2 results in a wondrous and very full spectrum cardamom profile that would make you think you're sitting in a spice shop taking a big whiff of their best cardamom offerings. As always, very satisfied with the product and really stunned with the quickness of shipping. I highly recommend this shop -- Fozia's commitments to quality and customer service are absolutely above reproach!

This batch of Ruh Khus struck me as being a bit less aged than the last bit I bought -- it's more blue-green than just green and lacks just a little bit of the depth and nuance from what I got before. That said, it's very potent and the thinner viscosity and more bountiful top notes make it easier to apply in smaller amounts and the scent does eventually settle into the deep, beautiful woody green fragrance I love from vetiver while also lasting a bit longer. Everything I've tried rom this shop has been absolutely as described, if not better. And the shipping time can't be beaten! Thank you Fozia!
