This 1:144 scale model of the liner Oceanic was commissioned by a collector in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The hull was made plank-on-bulkhead style using wood and is covered in fibreglass and resin. the superstructure is mainly wood, brass and plastic. The detail structure such as cranes, railing, windows, etc... were photo-etched brass and many of the bulky detail parts like lifeboats, anchors, bollards, etc... were 3-D printed by my own designs on my own 3-D printer.
