| Care & Maintenance |

Our timber is kiln-dried, which greatly reduces the likelihood of excessive movement. However, due to the thickness and solid construction of our furniture planks, splits will occur during hot summer temperatures.

It's important to note that wood is a natural material and naturally expands and contracts with changes in weather. This characteristic is common in all solid wooden products of this size. Rest assured, the structural integrity of our furniture remains unaffected, and any splits that occur will naturally shrink as the weather cools down.

To address any potential sharp or splintered edges that may arise in extreme temperatures, we offer furniture care packs. These packs allow you to easily sand down any rough surfaces and ensure the furniture maintains its pristine condition.

Regardless of any timber movement, we recommend the regular practice of sanding rough areas and applying a protective coat of Osmo oil annually. This simple maintenance routine will keep your furniture in optimal condition for years to come. Additionally, we advise safeguarding your outdoor garden furniture during the winter months by either storing it indoors or under a waterproof cover. These precautions will offer further protection to the timber, ensuring its longevity.

All our metal legs are manufactured using powder coated steel box frame.

Our furniture is supplied in a flat pack form, this allows us to send your item quickly and safely. Assembling your furniture is a quick & easy process taking approximately 15 minutes. We supply you with all the necessary fixings, all you will need a drill & screwdriver to complete the assembly.

Our Shelving & Furniture is manufactured from environmentally sustainable Scandinavian joinery pine. We hand pick every length of timber, to preserve as many rustic characteristics as possible. This includes unique grain patterns, saw marks, shakes (splits) & waney edges which has now become our trademark style.

For your peace of mind, all our timber is Kiln-Dried to a moisture content found in an average home.

Oversized - We can manufacture our shelves up to 200cm. Any bespoke size above 140cm will be subject to an oversized delivery charge of £28.50

We can offer our shelves with a depth of 30cm however they are only available in our Lipped bracket shelf variations.

Our 30cm shelves are manufactured using two separate planks, rather than one solid shelf. This ensures a safer delivery & we feel this creates a shelf with more character.

Both planks are securely fixed together using the brackets & fixings provided to create one solid shelf.

Floating Shelves - Unfortunately we would not advise the floating shelves to be put up on plasterboard walls. Our floating rods will not be able to fully support the shelf in plasterboard walls as the fixings do not adequately spread the load of the shelf across the wall.

External Bracket Shelves - Our metal bracket shelves will be suitable for plasterboard walls as the bracket helps spread the load across the wall. You will have to source your own plasterboard rawl plugs though.

The price and quantity on this listing is for one individual shelf & two brackets.

We use a photo of two shelves as our main image because this allows you to see the shelf characteristics and the metal bracket detail all on the same image.

Every piece of furniture & shelving that we produce from our workshop is made from 100% sustainable Scandinavian FSC certified joinery Pine, the highest grade of pine you can buy!

Pine is an extremely strong and versatile wood. It is used all over the world in construction to build houses. Being lightweight but incredibly strong makes it the perfect shelving material.

We only use wood from 100% sustainably managed FSC-certified forests, giving you the confidence you are buying a completely sustainable wooden product.

We only use the highest-grade joinery pine. This allows us to manufacture a product which is consistently high quality with the knowledge that its sustainable and environmentally friendly.

All our timber comes from sustainably managed forests in areas where FOUR trees are planted for every ONE felled.

Forests that are used for wood harvesting only have a few trees taken from each section. This allows the forest's native Animal Habitats to continue to thrive. This patch of land won't be harvested again for 30 years.
