Discs of varying sizes and shapes apply pressure using a pair of nylon bolts, so they are adjustable to the thickness of the earlobe. AN INEXPENSIVE OPTION TO APPLY GENTLE PRESSURE AFTER REMOVAL OF AN EARLOBE KELOID OR FOR A SMALL ONE THAT IS BEGINNING TO GROW.

The clear material enables you to see that the pressure is being applied in the appropriate spot. If you select a black or rainbow (colour changes depending on light) option, it is highly recommended that you also purchase a clear one so you can ensure you are getting appropriate compression.


In your package you will find a preassembled Earpress which consists of 2 different plates, one of which has larger holes through which the bolt can pass easily and the other has a screw thread. You will also receive two longer bolts in case you need them.

Depending on whether your keloid is on the left or right ear, whether you are left or right handed and whether the style you selected is symmetrical or not, it may be necessary to reverse the order of the plates. To do so, remove the bolts, switch the order of the plates and then screw the bolts in place by first threading them through the plate with the bigger holes and then through the threaded ones.
This may take some time and experimentation and it may be useful to have someone to help you the first time you do so.

Some customers prefer the bolts to face forward so the ends don’t poke into their heads when they sleep. As I mentioned, experiment with your Earpress to make it work for you. If you have difficulty, please message me on Etsy.

Best results when worn for 20 hours a day for at least 6 months (but often longer). Discontinue use if you experience discomfort and prevent any sores developing from wearing it too tightly. I cannot assume responsibility for this.

Please send a photo of your keloid to me if you would like my recommendations regarding which Earpress is most likely to fit. Unfortunately there are so many individual differences in the ear and keloid shapes and locations that I cannot guarantee they will fit and be effective.
