The item was as pictured, but the photo is magnificent approximately five times more. The bracelet comes in large, but not because the design link continues to the 11". The extension is a thin chain that is supposedly able to be adjusted. The chain wouldn't hold any weight. The clasp that is intended to connect to an end ring is large to be able to fit through the minimal O rings. The two reasons I only kept it. It first was sentimental to my mom. My dad gave her the same design anklet from Grand Cayman on a cruise before he passed. She loved it. While walking on the beach, it was lost. This resembled the original lost substance but not close. She loves it because of the memory it brought her. 2nd reason it was so large, I paid a jeweler to take down and replace clasps&ring cut off the string width chain
