I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the ocean is my favourite place and inspiration. I hope to bring some ocean love to you with my artworks!


This artwork was made using a printmaking method called Block Printing (also known as relief printmaking, linocut or woodcut prints!) I start by sketching out my design on a soft, rubbery material that I can then use gouges/chisels to carve my design out of the lino (rubbery material). Once my carving is complete, I then roll ink onto it and press/stamp it down onto a piece of paper. I do this process by hand, repeatedly rolling ink onto the carving and then stamping it down for every print that is made! Each print is considered an original piece of art (as each one is produced by hand and nothing is done digitally here!) Since each print is made by hand, there will be very small uniquenesses to each print made.

The total size of the print is 3 x 6 inches! It is printed on a 80 lb white smooth card paper that is acid free.

Prints are packaged in such a way that I feel they are safe in the mail! I place a thick cardboard backing with the print, and then put it into a sleeve that will protect it from any water it might run into on it's way to you. I wrap this in brown paper and seal it up well! I go to the post office once a week, so your order will be sent within 3 to 5 business days after you place it! If you need me to send it straight away, please message me and I can make a special post office trip for you!

If you are looking to customize this artwork, I can change the colour of the ink that is used to print it, as well as change the colour or size of the paper! I can not make the image larger or smaller, as it comes from a carving and is not printed digitally.
