I was expecting a handmade product from a local small business but instead received a mass produced cheap item from a factory in China after the shipping showed that’s where the item started its journey to me. After speaking with the seller they confirmed my suspicions by admitting the item came from “their” factory in China. Handmade in a China factory is not the same as handmade by a small business in the UK, which sadly this item wasn’t. Due to it being a personalised item I’m unable to return it. I’m very unhappy after paying such a high price for the same item I’ve seen available on Temu for a fraction of the cost and suspect the item is one in the same. Please stop claiming your products as handmade in the UK when they clearly are not. Amazon is a more suitable place, not Etsy.
