Highlights
A lovely mix of herbs to help calm a cough, especially wet coughs, and as an expectorant. This remedy could also be taken as a warming digestive aid. (Check out my Lung Tonic Syrup for soothing a dry cough).
Elecampane is the star of this syrup, and one of my favorite plants in the garden. This root is highly aromatic and lovely to use fresh. Both bitter and pungent, is a great herb for the lungs and digestion.
Made with homegrown elecampane root, homegrown and mindfully wild harvested elderberries, organic ginger, licorice, cinnamon, hyssop, plantain, local honey and organic apple cider vinegar.
Dosage for adults: 1-2 tsp every 1-2 hrs as needed
Dosage for kids (2 and up): 1/2-1 tsp every 1-2 hours as needed
Note: This medicine could be irritating to dry conditions. Not for use if pregnant.
