A note from the author:
I recently completed a collection of poetry titled I Could Write A Book About You. While I am not ready to share this collection, I have decided to release a series of companion chapbooks (thanks to the support and encouragement from my little writing family!)
These chapbooks are inspired by a conversation I had with a friend one day, when we noticed the interconnectedness between the rooms we sat in and the stories that unfolded within them. Running to each other's homes, we quickly discovered ourselves in the kitchen, the living room, the bedroom, etc. As we instinctively gravitated towards specific rooms, we noticed recurring themes that unfolded within them. We bared our souls, made confessions, shared our darkest secrets and exposed our hearts- all within the safety and comfort of our homes.
I Could Write A Book About You is my home, and its companion chapbooks are the rooms within it. Devour, the first chapbook, takes place in the heart of the home: the kitchen. It is a book of poetry that reminds us of the warmth created by ovens and wandering hands.
Inspired by the intimacy of feeding others, Devour celebrates the art of nourishing both body and soul while balancing temptation and self control.
Within these pages, readers will enjoy poetry simmering with longing and desire, exploring the depths of human connection.
Devour, where touch and taste become a language of their own.
*Please note: This book is intended for mature audiences aged 18 and older. It contains explicit sexual content and themes that may not be suitable for all readers. Reader discretion is advised.*
