An assemblage of found and repurposed objects. Featuring a vintage porcelain doll that I tea dyed. Once the stuffing was removed, I added an assortment of clock faces and gears on springs. Her wings are beach grass roots. There is also the interior of a wasp nest, assorted found animal bones, a bee, a cicada, a pine cone, found rusty metal, wood, spanish moss. The doll's dress is hanging on a wire hanger that I crafted out of piece of scrap wire. The entire piece is assembled in an upcycled canvas wall sign. The edges are covered in vintage sewing patterns.
This piece includes a repurposed metal necklace for hanging on the wall, but the piece is free standing as well
