Ladies beautifully manufactured, antique 18ct solid gold 5-stone diamond gemstone ring. The maximum width of the head of the ring is 6.5mm. It houses 5 claw-set diamond gemstones within a decorative marquise shaped panel. All of the diamond gemstones are 'old-cut type' and exposed to the ring's reverse side to allow the light to shine through to make them glow. The shank is tapered and displays pretty 'leaf like structures and ornate open-work' to its apical regions. An embossed '18ct' gold assay stamp mark is present on the inside circumference of the shank. This equates to the ring's high gold purity. Size 'R-S'{UK}, 9.25{US}. Weighs 3.1 grams. Superb condition throughout with genuine diamond gemstones, no repairs and most likely manufactured around the late Victorian / early Edwardian era.
