When your order is shipped, an email containing a tracking number will be sent to you. This number allows you to easily track the whereabouts of your order. Tracking data will not update until 1 day later so do not worry if your tracking number doesn't work immediately.

All international orders may be subject to taxes and duties. House of Lurdes is not responsible for any taxes or duties applied to your order. Please contact your local customs office for further information regarding taxes and duties.

At the this time we do not offer refunds due to our items being handmade.



Once an item has been shipped, House of Lurdes shall not be responsible for any uncollected parcels which include presenting incomplete or wrong addresses. No refunds shall be made in such instances, (value forfeited) and a shipping fee will be incurred if parcels are requested to be shipped out again.

If you received a damaged or defective product upon arrival, please reach out to us no later than within 5 days of receiving your purchase with your order number and a photo of the damage.

Message us immediately. We will do our very best to make changes but cannot guarantee that any address change requests will be seen before your package is shipped. We are unable to redirect packages or refund orders shipped to the incorrect address.

☞ In addition to our products being handmade, meaning less machinery, electricity, and fossil fuels — we source organic and locally produced ingredients when possible.



☞ We use ZERO plastic in our packaging and the shipment of our products. The bag that carries our samples is 100% compostable and our home fragrances are wrapped in paper, which we repurpose from our supplier's packaging, tied with twine, and sealed with our logo wax seal.

☞ Our box filler is made from biodegradable corn starch — the packing peanuts can be rinsed down the drain!


Candle care and safety are very important to avoid any accidents, injuries/burns, and fires. Please adhere to these rules for all candles, including ours:

• Always burn your candle within sight. Do not burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time
• Keep your burning candles away from flammable materials, children, and pets
• Do not light near or on any objects that can catch fire, and do not place on or near other heat sources
• Burn candle on heat-resistant surfaces only
• Do not allow any dust, debris, wick trimmings, or any other materials to collect in the wax by keeping your lid on when not in use and removing all wick trimmings from the vessel
• Do not place your candle in a draft

SOON! — We make our items in small batches, and sometimes made-to-order, this means limited stock and availability.

We are a one-person business and try our best to replenish as items sell out. If an item you love is out of stock, please sign up to be notified by email when it has been restocked. If an item you love is IN STOCK, it's best to grab it while you can! We appreciate your support!

YES! We want you to upcycle after you use your candle. A great way to make this happen is easy:

- Place your container in the freezer
- Remove the container after a few hours and dislodge the wax
- Rock the wick holder back and forth to wiggle free from the container
- Clean the container with your favourite cleaning product, and that's it!

Here are some ways we love to reuse our containers: Desk or Office Accessories, Pencil holders, or mini planters (make a drainage system inside or drill a hole.)
