Can I See a Mockup Before Ordering?

We do not create mockups before an order is placed, as this requires design time, and an order number to work from. If your purchase includes a proof, please turn on your Etsy notifications and watch your messages and please reply quickly to avoid delays.

What File Types Do You Accept for Recipes or Handwriting?

We accept JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG, and EPS. Clear, high-resolution scans or photos produce the best engraving results.

What if My Recipe or Handwriting Image Is Low Quality?

We will do our best to enhance and clean the file. If we cannot achieve a high-quality engraving, we will contact you before production.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on personalized items. Damage or defect claims must be reported within 72 hours of delivery (based on the carrier timestamp). Please inspect your item immediately upon arrival. NO EXCEPTIONS For all international returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping, as we are unable to purchase return labels in foreign countries.

Processing Times & Delivery Dates

We are currently Processing orders in 3–5 business days. Express shipping does not shorten processing times, and does not guarantee early delivery. We only guarantee the date we ship your order—carrier delays are outside our control, and we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

Shipping to AK/HI, Military & International

• AK/HI & U.S. Territories: 14–20 business days • Military addresses: 4–6 weeks • International: up to 60 days Buyers are responsible for all customs taxes and import fees. We cannot be responsible for customs delays.

Lost Packages or Late Delivery

Once the carrier accepts the package, transit speed is out of our control. We do not issue refunds or accept returns for late delivery. NO EXCEPTIONS. or no0t tracking, please contact us so we can help. Orders marked delivered cannot be refunded or replaced. You will need to contact your local Office for GPS coordinates of the delivery.

We Do NOT produce literal perfection. We are a handmade business, and our items are not mass produced, so each item is unique and one of a kind. Some items may have slight imperfections, but we do our very best to minimize these as much as we possibly can. Refunds will not be given for the MINOR imperfections.

WHOLESALE-
We do offer wholesale rates in some cases. This is based on the product and quantity of the order, and must be ordered in case quantities, which usually begins at 18-24 units. When we can buy in large quantities, we forward those savings to you in most cases. However, the engraving costs are still the same as our workload will not change with larger orders. Please reach out to us via Etsy Messages with wholesale questions. Thank you!

SHIPPING
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
****Purchasing express shipping will not decrease our processing times, it will decrease the amount of time shipping will take to get the item to you. Our processing times will still be 1-7 days (7-14 DURING THE HOLIDAYS) ***

If you require faster SHIPPING, you can choose the EXPRESS options at checkout, however, the higher shipping rates will be your responsibility and will not be covered by Hometown Engraving LLC. Please keep in mind this only decrease the shipping time and NOT the processing times.

If your order requires INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING- your shipping charges will be calculated at checkout and your tracking will be provided in an email from Etsy when your order ships. We do not offer free International Shipping, and any Customs Fees , Import taxes and any additional fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. We use UPS International or USPS International for All International orders.

WE CAN NOT CONTROL CARRIER DELAYS AS WE DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PREDICT OR PREVENT THESE DELAYS, therefore please do not review our Company negatively when the Carrier experiences a delay, as that is just not fair! We do everything we can to help and should not be held responsible for a delay we cannot control.

CANCELLATION POLICY
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS-NO EXCEPTIONS

Due to the recent activity, we can no longer accept cancellations for any reason. We HIGHLY recommend you read the details section and ask any questions you may have PRIOR to purchasing. We are always available to help answer your questions and will happily assist in any way that we can. I encourage you to ask any questions you may have BEFORE you order. If for some reason we have to cancel your order there will be a 50% restock fee for the product blanks we had to purchase to fulfill our order. This order is placed within 1 HOUR of purchase, so cancellations later than 1 hour will only receive 50% refund, as we will collect the 50% restock fee in these cases.

RETURN POLICY
***We do not accept returns or exchanges for custom-engraved products***
We gladly accept returns for non-custom engraved and printed products. Item/s must be shipped back to Hometown Engraving LLC within 3 days of delivery and all returns must have tracking. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
