Highlights

This 3 string resonator guitar can be played acoustically or through an amplifier. The copper resonator cone has a softer, more mellow sound than an aluminum cone resonator. This guitar is almost entirely handmade with the exception of a few purchased parts. It plays very well and is a beautiful instrument that anyone would be proud to own.

The walnut box has a semi-gloss finish and is 12 1/2" x 8" x 2 3/4" deep and is approximately 36" in length overall. It has an aluminum reinforced walnut neck with a 25" scale zebrawood fretboard (The fretboard grain is absolutely amazing, it shimmers!) with 24 frets. The headstock is walnut and maple with antique copper enclosed tuners and a bone string guide. I hand spun the copper resonator cone and also made the copper tailpiece, jack plate and volume knob. The biscuit bridge is walnut with a bone saddle. The pickup is an MGB Mini Box Bucker with a copper painted cover and a single volume control. The strings are nickel wound electric .016, .026 , .036 and tuned GDG. The string spacing is 12mm and the string height is approximately 2mm at the 12th fret.
