The Lady Camilla fascinator; beautiful and regal. This is an OOAK creation designed by myself artist Shannon Stack-Lucas. Each detail thought out and designed by me. The colour hues range from beautiful rust oranges ,crimson reds to deep purples. It was created from a pheasant hunted in Manitoba by my father.

The bird hyde was dried , stretched and cured by hand. The feathers in the feather pad were picked out individually , place and stabilized with stitching. Each bead is individually sewn to bring out the colours in the plumes. The main focal pendant is an upcycled vintage earring from a friends great Aunts treasures dating back to the 1950's. It was deconstructed and placed at the base the fascinator. The base sinamay and birch bark from Canadian trees here in Kenora. Hand curled and dried. The fascinator is hand beaded in a variety of sizes and shades to match the feathers. There are some small vintage details such as black bird cage veil which gives it a bit of nostalgic flair.
