I took my miniature human skull sculpture and cast just the front portion of it, giving it a flat back and the ability to be used as an embellishment on costumes, armor, weapons, or whatever else you want to attach it to! It could also easily be converted to a fridge magnet, a brooch, a hairpiece, or all sorts of other things.

This realistic skull is cast in solid resin and comes unpainted, allowing you to choose how (or if) you want to finish it. It's 2" from top to bottom, 1.5" wide, and about 3/4" deep with a completely flat back. It weighs less than 1 oz. You also have the option of getting the skull and jaw as two separate pieces, or just the upper skull alone. The upper skull piece is just over 1.5" from top to bottom.

CAST OPTIONS

You can choose from these options for the cast piece(s):

- All one piece: The skull and jaw are fused as a single part.
- Separate skull/jaw: The skull and jaw are two separate pieces. They can be fit together very closely if needed for posing. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - JAW OPTION CONTAINS A SMALL PART. NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YRS.
- Upper skull only: This is just the top half of the skull without a jaw piece.

- Raw cast vs cleaned-up: A raw cast is straight out of the mold with minimal cleanup. There will be some flashing and the edges may be sharp. A raw cast will require you to do some sanding and cleanup before use. You can also choose the cleaned-up option, where we take care of removing all of the flashing and sanding the edges clean and smooth.

- Embedded magnet: Choose this option to include a strong ceramic magnet, embedded directly into the resin. The magnet easily holds the resin piece to a refrigerator or other metal surface, even though multiple sheets of paper.

- Pinback: With this option, a pinback is embedded directly into the resin so you can attach it to your shirt, hat, ita bag, or backpack.

- Ornament: Choose this option to include an attached loop at the top of the resin piece, and a metal hook. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - ORNAMENT OPTION CONTAINS SMALL PARTS. NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YRS.

All of my resin props start out as a sculpture I created in oil-based clay. I make a mold of the original using silicone rubber, and then cast it in impact-resistant resin. While I don't recommend treating it roughly, this stuff is very tough!

This blank piece comes just as you see it in the photos - a blank piece cast in resin. If you choose the cleanup option, I also remove any flashing from the molding process and sand the edges smooth. This is a do-it-yourself piece, meaning it's up to you to finish, paint, and assemble it however you'd like. I'm also available to answer questions, so please don't hesitate to send me a message.

Made-to-order items include all unpainted blank resin pieces, such as masks, claws, etc. When you place an order, they are added to my production queue in the order they're received. When a package doesn't arrive, the first thing you should do is verify that the shipping address on your order was correct and that USPS can deliver to that address. Please note that I cannot be responsible for replacements if the shipping information I was given was incorrect.

You might also want to check with neighbors, if possible, to see if it was mis-delivered. I typically like to give packages a couple days to see if they arrive, either by a neighbor delivering them or the postal worker may have marked them 'delivered' but wasn't actually able to complete the delivery that day. (That does happen sometimes!)

To be able to cast in black, I need to make a special kind of mold that allows me to cast it in a pressure pot. Unfortunately, not every piece is able to be turned into this kind of mold.

Certain pieces that I cast using a rotocasting technique (some horns, the dragon wall mount, seashells, and original-style masks) cannot be cast in black at this time.
