Lion of Venice Pendant. This unique pendant is made from vintage Italian 1950s postage stamps, sterling silver, and jeweler's grade resin. The pendant is 100% made in the U.S. and comes with an Italian sterlings silver chain.

The stamp features the winged lion of Venice (Saint Mark's) and were issued to commemorate the 1952 Venetian Biennale. The stamps printed in Italy had a 25 Lire denomination. We create the pendant by setting carefully selected sections of an authentic postage stamp in 3/5” (20 mm) sterling silver bezel cup. Then we pour the resin over the stamp to seal it in the bezel cup. The pine-based resin creates a crystal clear, beautiful, and durable dome that magnifies the surface details and depth of color of the stamp. Each pendant is unique.
