FIRST OF ALL...
Once you have received your sandals and tried them on, if they fit you well or if they may be a LITTLE bit stiff or tight, you MUST DO THE WATER BREAK-IN to achieve a comfortable fit. We have included these instructions in our listing and you will also receive the same instructions included with your order! YOU must do this final step once you receive your order. Follow our instructions exactly. They are easy to follow but you must follow them exactly. If you do the water break-in properly and still feel that the sandals do not fit properly, contact us right away. You must wear a pair of tube socks once you soak your feet with your new sandals on and wear them while they dry on your feet. We CANNOT accept any sandals that have any marks, scratches or signs of wear on the soles so wearing a pair of tube socks while waiting for your sandals to dry during the break-in IS VERY IMPORTANT! If you still need to return a pair of sandals after the water break-in process, please make sure they are completely dry before packing them to send them back. We strive for all of our reviews to be 5-stars. It is up to you to complete this break-in process before leaving us any feedback. Each item in our store is made in the country that they have always been made in. We have taken an old favorite to a new level! We custom color these sandals to your order using our own professional coloring techniques, that we have worked on for years, so that the color will not rub off on your skin. Unisex. Great for both men and women! Imported from India as they have been for hundreds of years. They are made with 100% leather that is hand-stitched with stacked-leather soles.

The sandals shown in the pictures are a representation of the ones you will receive. Light Brown Sandals and Dark Brown Sandals may not be exactly the color shown in our listing. Since these sandals are made of 100% leather the shade of the brown sandals you choose may be a little bit lighter or a little bit darker than the ones shown in our listing. We choose your order from our current stock of sandals that we have on hand. We try to be as close in color to the sandals shown in our listing that you have requested.

PLEASE NOTE ~ We DO NOT have a WOMEN'S SIZE 6 1/2 or smaller available! IF YOUR FOOT MEASURES 9" or less we DO NOT have a pair of sandals that will fit you property. These sandals are NOT available in a women's size 5, 6 or 6 1/2. Your foot must measure at least 9 1/4" or more which is equal to a Men's size 5 / Women's size 7. Your foot should also measure 4" (normal/medium width) in width for these sandals to fit properly. If your foot is more narrow or any wider, these sandals will NOT FIT YOUR FOOT PROPERLY.
When placing your order, remember that these sandals are Unisex sizes which means they will be marked in a men's size even though everyone wears them. The "M" in the sizing stands for the Men's size and the "W" in the sizing stands for the equivalent Women's size.

So...if you need a WOMEN'S SIZE 8, you will need to order a M6/W8 - Men's size 6 / Women's size 8 not a size M8/W10 which means a Men's size 8 / Women's size 10. Please look at OUR size chart image before ordering to make choosing your correct size a little more clear. The smallest size we offer is a M5/W7 - Men's size 5 / Women's size 7 which measures 9 3/4" in length. We do not have any sandals that will fit a smaller foot than a women's size 7.

******MEASURING YOUR FOOT*******
1) Be sure to choose your ACTUAL shoe size.
2) PLEASE MEASURE THE LENGTH OF YOUR FOOT. THESE SANDALS DO NOT FIT NARROW OR WIDE FEET!
Place a ruler on the floor and stand on it with your barefoot, lining your heel up with the end where the zero should be. Now stand on the ruler with ALL OF YOUR WEIGHT on that one foot and look to see where your big toe reaches. Write down the EXACT measurement in inches.
3) PLEASE MEASURE THE WIDTH OF YOUR FOOT. Turn the ruler a quarter turn and stand on it again, with ALL OF YOUR WEIGHT, so the ruler is going across under the bottom of your foot at it WIDEST point, usually near the balls of your feet and write down the EXACT measurement. Now please enter these two measurements in the "Add your Personalization" area of the listing so we can look for a pair that will fit you correctly. If we have any questions, we may even contact you before filling your order so please check your Etsy messages after ordering!
Now match up your foot length with the chart we provide. For 1/2 sizes you may want to consider ordering the next size up or you may send us a message directly through Etsy to ask us for advise you which size you should order. Remember - which ever size you choose will be the size that we sent to you. We don't mind returns as long as the item is returned in the same NEW condition that we send it to you. Once we receive your return, inspect the sandals and find them in perfect condition, we will refund you Original Purchase price only. We do not refund any original or return shipping charges on orders returned for size issues so please contact us before ordering with any questions you may have. Thanks!

********WELCOME BACK TO YOUR FAVORITE SANDALS!********
These sandals may be a little stiff when your first receive them. This is normal! The first thing to do is to try them on BEFORE soaking them, to make sure they are a good length and width for your foot. If you try your sandals on and the sole is too long, too short or the arch band is too wide or too narrow for your foot, then you probably ordered the wrong size and you will have to send them back. Soaking them WILL NOT change the length or width of the soles. Next, check the arch band going across the top of your foot. If this band is really loose, the sandals may be too wide for you. If the band is too tight, they may be too narrow. This band may stretch a little during the break-in process but if they are too tight, the band may break during wear. We will not be held responsible if this type of damage occurs. These sandals are made to fit a normal width foot. If this band is too large, soaking them WILL NOT shrink the arch band enough to make them fit. You will probably have to return or exchange them for a different size. If your sandals fit pretty well in length and width, then you can continue on with the SOAKING/BREAKING IN INSTRUCTIONS listed below. This process helps to soften your new sandals and make them more comfortable. If your sandals are a good fit when you first receive them, you may choose not to wear them as the dry after soaking them. Just let them dry naturally and then try them on. If you feel that soaking may help make them fit better, there is not problem in soaking them again.
********SOAKING AND BREAKING IN YOUR NEW SANDALS********
We understand that you want to make sure that your sandals are comfortable once you receive them. Put your sandals on and place your feet/sandals into a bucket of water, bathtub or stand in the shower. After about 3 minutes remove your feet with the sandals still on from the water. DO NOT stay in the water any longer than this recommended time. You are only softening the leather. Leaving them in the water WILL NOT MAKE THEM SHRINK OR MAKE THEM ANY LARGER! They will conform to your feet only as they dry. After the 3 minutes, please step out of the water with your sandals still on, onto a towel so that you do not slip on the floor. Now, with the sandals still on your feet, please place a pair of tube socks over your feet with the sandals still on so that you can walk around your house while the sandals dry on your feet. It may take the entire day for the sandals to completely dry on your feet. During this break in process please prevent marking and scuffing of the soles of the sandals. Walking on cement, pavement or any other rough surface without the tube socks will cause the bottoms to show signs of wear by becoming scuffed, pitted, marked and darker. If the soles become marked up in anyway we cannot accept them as a return. We know that people like to wet these sandals and wear them until they dry, which is no problem but you CANNOT WALK AROUND without socks covering the entire bottom of the sandals to prevent any marking and scuffing of the soles of the sandals. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!

We take a lot of care to send you a pair of sandals that have been custom colored to your order and that will fit you properly using the information YOU HAVE PROVIDED to us. Sending us your actual shoe size and the exact measurement of the length of your foot (using the instruction in our listing) is the best way to get a pair of sandals that will fit you properly. Please submit a return request to us PRIOR TO returning any merchandise. If an item is sent back for any reason other than a company error, the buyer is responsible for all original and return shipping charges. We do not reimburse the buyer for original shipping or return shipping charges on returned items unless our company has made a mistake. PLEASE BE HONEST! Returning a worn, altered or used pair of sandals, even if you received an incorrect size due to company error is never allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you should decide to return your sandals and the soles show any signs of wear, we WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR RETURN OR ISSUE YOU ANY REFUND since we will be unable to resell them. Even if we have sent you an incorrect item due to a company error, you must still meet the return qualifications listed above to receive a refund. When we receive a return, the first place we look for wear is on the soles of the sandals. If the bottoms show any signs of wear, scuffs, scratches, pitting or darkening, we will not accept them because we will not be able to resell them. if you try to return a pair of sandals that show ANY signs of being worn, altered or used we will not accept your return and we will not issue a refund to your account. If you should decide you want your sandals back, you will be responsible for the new shipping charges to have them returned to you.
